Even more about the Fat Dom situation

I have to wonder if work got back to Phil that Carlo was the one with
the big itch to whack Vito and that's why Fat Dom zeroed in on Carlo
almost from the beginning. In previous discussions on this matter, it
has been suggested that Fat Dom zeroed in on Carlo because he realized
he was getting under Carlo's skin. But, upon subsequent viewings, Fat
Dom sat down and turned toward Fat Dom before he even started hurling
insults. And tell me he wasn't expecting some shit to go down saying
those things.

I have to wonder if work got back to Phil that Carlo was the one with
the big itch to whack Vito and that's why Fat Dom zeroed in on Carlo
almost from the beginning. In previous discussions on this matter, it
has been suggested that Fat Dom zeroed in on Carlo because he realized
he was getting under Carlo's skin. But, upon subsequent viewings, Fat
Dom sat down and turned toward Fat Dom before he even started hurling
insults. And tell me he wasn't expecting some shit to go down saying
those things.

He wasn't expecting to get whacked - dats for sure. He was sure looking to
piss Carlo off about it - and realisitcally, the best way to piss Carlo off
about this situation is to reinforce the message that Dom did the job that
Carlo didn't have a chance to... But what's perplexing me, is how did he
know (if indeed he did) that Carlo was the one sent to whack Vito in the
first place? That would mean someone in the Jersey crew had blabbed to
Phil's people. Is someone doing a simulcast? I don't imagine so - and hence,
I don't imagine there's too much mileage to the notion that Dom was
deliberately goading Carlo rather than Syl. I guess we just chalk this one
up to the fact that everyone knows Carlo hates queers, and Dom was just
playing on a rise he got out of Carlo.
