In the hospital when T is shot and Silvio has to make a ruling in the
waiting area to settle the beef between Vito and Bobby Baccala, Vito
spouts a short Italian phrase that I wonder if anyone caught. He was
upset when Sil ruled in Bobby's favor and he made a hand motion and
said something like "va fa Napoli" or so it sounded. I think this is a
mild swear having to do with Naples. Can anyone translate or confirm
this for me?

It loosely translates to "Go to Hell."

Literally it means, "Go to Naples." It derives from a very old
expression that has been attributed to Virgil, Goethe and others - "Go
to Naples, then die." The intended meaning, of course, was that one
shouldn't die without experiencing Naples - sort of like a travel
slogan. However, due to its literal translation it became a convenient
way of telling someone to drop dead.
