Silvio Is Consigliere ( Where the hell have I been)

Just checked the chain of command and Silvio came up as Consigliere.
Thought he was Capo or made man that ran the Bing. Don't recall any
scenes that he mediated other than the sit down with Paulie and Ralphy
in the last episode. (Maybe I just don't see the any similarites to
Duvalle in 1) Any Thoughts?

nah, if you watched every episode over and over.. sil is the one that gives tony the bad news, and breaks the bad news to his crew FROM tony. like a mediator, he, when tony's not around is the person to go to for advice.
as far as BOSS... we saw how he handles that little job when tony got shot by junior. He was slanging huffs for days! He's the consigliere for a reason. A little aloof at times though to me.
